About Madelyn Brown

I am on a mission to increase the job satisfaction of HR professionals, supervisors, and managers, by sharing my expertise in employee relations. I was raised in the manufacturing and service sector environments then successfully transitioned to the public sector arena of higher education in 2007. In my current role, I partner with college leaders on continuous improvement projects that have direct impact on employee engagement, retention, and operational efficiency. My prior roles in higher education include serving as the HR Director for the Technical College System of Georgia, where I had oversight for 22 colleges, and as HR Director at West Georgia Technical College. Before my time as a State employee, I enjoyed a 20-year career in the private sector within the HR discipline. I worked for, and learned from, national industry leaders such as Honda, Ricoh, and Nextel.
