About Madelyn Good

Hi! I work as the Sr. Manager of Quality Improvement & Business Analysis at BHcare, the local mental health authority for the Shoreline and Valley regions of CT. I also serve as the Project Director of the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) grant through SAMHSA. My role focuses on building data-driven approaches to program and process improvement, as well as strengthening organizational data systems. My aim is to further health equity by improving accessibility to evidence-based healthcare.I received my Master of Public Health in Social and Behavioral Sciences at Yale School of Public Health. My thesis assessed the relationship between social determinant of health outcomes and structural stigma. Prior to this, I received my B.S. in comprehensive science with minors in mathematics and global health from Villanova University. My public health knowledge is grounded both in global and local communities, through studying in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Kasoa, Ghana, as well as locally with health organizations such as the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, and BHcare. My primary interests include health equity and building optimized and streamlined data systems.
