Hi! I’m Madelynn Sare, a digital accessibility enthusiast and content designer with a passion for crafting stories that are both inclusive and impactful. Whether I’m building WCAG 2.2 ebooks or flexing my marketing muscles to craft brand narratives that resonate, I care deeply about helping people feel seen, heard, and included. I recently obtained a Master’s in Book Publishing from Portland State University, and I’ve led the production of four fully accessible ebooks for Ooligan Press, building sustainable workflows to ensure accessibility remains central to our publishing process (not to mention I designed a book cover for a forthcoming title that will publish May 2026!) For me, accessibility and design go hand in hand, and it saturates the work that I do. Before attending graduate school, I worked in multiple marketing roles, overseeing social media presence, managing content strategy, community engagement, creating long- and short-form copy, analytics, and front-end coding—all while keeping things human and fun. Whether it’s refining a brand voice or debugging HTML, I love bringing order to chaos and purpose to pixels. I'm fueled by jobs that allow me to combine my creativity with problem-solving skills, as I'm a "tinkerer" and am always looking to find solutions and grow.
