About Madhav Sehajpaul

Aspiring Venture Capitalist with practical experience in working with startups in the UK and India. Fellow at VC Lab and Apprentice at Founder Institute, with a proven track record in assisting founders raise funds successfully.As a recent MSc Finance graduate from the University of Nottingham, I bring a blend of academic and practical experience gained over ~3 years across UK and India. Driven by a passion for venture capital, startups and ethical investing, I am constantly on a lookout for opportunities to add value to the ecosystem.During my recent tenure in London, I actively participated in assisting startups in raising funds and building an AI-based pitch deck analyzer (alongside my MSc). This experience has provided me with invaluable insights into the UK early-stage investments space. More recently, I have also been selected to be in the Cohort 3 of Venture Institute, an initiative by VC Lab (By Decile Group)- a training program for aspiring venture capitalists. Moreover, my time in New Delhi saw me advising multiple startups in raising seed rounds, contributing to their growth trajectories. I have also worked in transaction services, offering in-depth M&A research for over an year.Driven by a desire to further immerse myself in the startup ecosystem, I am actively seeking opportunities to grow in Venture Capital. With a solid foundation in financial analysis, investment research, relationship building, pitch decks and financial models, I am eagerly seeking entry into Venture Capital. I am committed to contributing my skills and enthusiasm to fuel the success of visionary ventures.
