About Madhuri Marathe

As an assistant professor of psychology at Vishwakarma University - VU, I am passionate about developing and delivering high-quality curriculum and research in forensic psychology. I have expertise in forensic deception detection techniques, psychological analysis, and behavioral health, and I use various tools and software, such as MS Office, SPSS, and E-Prime, to conduct and report my research. I have also worked as an assistant professor at MES College of Arts & Commerce, Goa, and as a project assistant at the Centre for Mental Health Law and Policy, where I gained valuable experience in working with adults, adolescents, and children suffering from trauma, depression, and anxiety disorders. I am interested in developing psychological research projects and academic activities that can enhance the well-being and empowerment of individuals and communities. I hold a master's degree in forensic psychology from Gujarat Forensic Sciences University and a bachelor's degree in psychology and Sanskrit from Dempo Charities Trust Dhempe College of Arts & Science Miramar and Kavi Kulguru Kalidas Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Ramtek, respectively. I am proficient in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Marathi, Sanskrit, Portuguese, and Gujarati.
