About Madi Mahlen
In 2021, I achieved a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Journalism with a minor in Sports Management from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. Since graduating, I spent June 2021-July 2024 working with various LA based sports teams and furthering my career in similar event coordination roles for OC based restaurants. The most notable experience during this time was the 2 seasons spent working with the Los Angeles Chargers Fan Experience team. This was an excellent transition from the journalism side of fan services, to the full-scale production side of fan services. As of August 2024, I have transitioned into work within the corporate and large-scale event industry by working with Encore Global. In this role, I am working face-to-face with customers and coordinating their events from behind the scenes. I also manage all client expectations before, during, and after events, as well as managing onsite technicians and union staff. This role is an excellent step into the corporate event production space and a great learning opportunity for growth within the events industry!
