About Madison Borden

I am a proud 2022 Salem State University graduate, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Media and Communication with a focus in Journalism. During my last year of SSU, I participated in the Disney College Program and spent 9 months working at Magic Kingdom in Orlando, FL. My time at Disney taught me the value of providing exceptional customer service to guests, making my internship an incredibly rewarding experience. I have since worked for three non-profits focused on youth education. As the Community Engagement Manager for North Shore Children's Museum, I engaged with the public, booked/oversaw all birthday party reservations and special events, managed our Library Pass Program and distributed donation requests. At Discovery Space, I assumed the role of Summer Camp Manager, requiring me to immediately jump into intricate operations, maintain smooth processes, ensure effective communication, and manage a team responsible for the safety and well-being of campers. Now, I have the great pleasure of working with Jana Marie Foundation as an Education and Program Specialist. In this position I am responsible for the facilitation, implementation, and evaluation of a variety of educational programs, outreach activities, and trainings for young people in our community.
