About Madison Corbett

Growing up as the eldest in a family of five children, taking care of others has always been a quality and passion in my life. At a young age, I knew I wanted to become a person who was able to help people in a time of need. After receiving my nursing degree from Monroe County Community College and passing the NCLEX, I was hired at ProMedica Toledo Hospital in May of 2015. After 2 years working as a bedside nurse on a Cardiothoracic stepdown, I was promoted to a Unit Clinical Leader and charge nurse. I have gained immeasurable experience and confidence in these positions, developing a great rapport with patients, staff, and providers. I have also been a part of the Michigan Medicine Health System from August to December of 2019 and have continued to gain valuable knowledge and experience. In December of 2019, I graduated with my BSN from Siena Heights University. January of 2020 until present, continued my career at the ProMedica Toledo Hospital Coronary ICU. The experience I obtained in the Coronary ICU has greatly grown my knowledge and skill as a critical care nurse. Presently, I work in the ProMedica Toledo Hospital Coronary ICU and the ProMedica Physicians Cardiology office. As a nurse, I am completely committed to the welfare of my patients. I take on new challenges on a daily basis and have been formally recognized by patients, management, and health care professionals. This mentality is reflected in my role as a leader. I am passionate about facing challenges head on and working with staff as a team to accomplish a common goal. In addition, I have been selected to train and mentor new RN employees.
