About Madison Dobson
I am currently a rising 3L at Southwestern Law School. I received my Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications (Journalism) in 2020 from the University of Kansas. I have continued to refine my writing skills through Law Review and Moot Court, as well as through law school courses. Moot Court has ripened my oral advocacy skills, providing me with the opportunity to argue on an array of issues. At Southwestern, I have gained a strong foundation of legal knowledge and skills, which I have been able to apply during my summer externship placements. During my time in law school, I have placed a special focus on not only acquiring the requisite foundational knowledge to practice law, but also applying those principles in the real world. During my final year of law school, I will be the Internal Operations Chair and Library Co-Chair on Southwestern’s Moot Court Honors Program Board of Governors, continuing to refine my writing, analysis, and oral advocacy skills, as well as my leadership skills.
