About Madison Dunlap

I completed my PhD in June of 2024 and recently transitioned into the world of professional problem-solving: consulting. For my doctoral research, I studied the correlation between Autism Quotient (AQ) scores and performance on Spanish phonetic imitation tasks, and showed that autistic children are equally capable L2 learners compared to their typically-developing peers, highlighting the importance of L2 education as a prosocial communicative outlet. Through my PhD, I confirmed my love for research, becoming the expert on a niche topic, and finding creative solutions to ongoing problems; I enjoy applying the critical thinking and analytical skills I developed throughout graduate school to consulting, where I continue to utilize my creative problem-solving approach and interdisciplinary background to effect meaningful, immediate change on a broader scale.
