About Madison E.

I have practiced public relations, along with feature writing and communications, since January 2017. I currently work for TMC at Oak Hammock at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. During my last year at the University of Florida, my admiration for nonprofits grew with WellFlorida Council, where I was able to design and release content on their social media and website as well as those of their corporate accounts and affiliate partners and programs. I spent my last semester working reception at a hostel in Nijmegen, Netherlands and taking my classes online (while also attempting to learn some Dutch). Previously, I was a staff writer for College Magazine, publishing articles weekly. During this time, I was also the public relations chair on the executive board for the University of Florida Equestrian Team, where I was able to engage in community outreach, learn the art of budgeting and my first solo experiences in event planning.
