About Madison Faizon

I am a problem-solver and creative thinker. I am a J.D. candidate at the University of Richmond School of Law with an interest in commercial litigation. I serve as an Articles Editor on the University of Richmond Law Review, Vice President of the Oliver Hill Chapter of the Black Law Students Association, Research Assistant for Professor Danielle Wingfield, and Member of the Public Relations Team of the Career Development Advisory Board. I have a passion for complexity and problem solving in legal disputes. I’ve worked extensively in the federal judiciary as an intern for Judge Cynthia Rufe in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and as an extern for Judge Roderick Young in the Eastern District of Virginia. I am an incoming Federal Judicial Clerk in the Northern District of Ohio. I also greatly value mentorship and giving back within the law school community and the greater Richmond Community. I serve as a Peer mentor and Section Mentor at Richmond Law and a Big Brothers, Big Sisters volunteer in Henrico County Public Schools.
