About Madison Gerard

A confident individual who is beaming with ideas and solutions in regards to the workplace. I graduated from North Carolina State University, with a major is Psychology. Along my journey through college I have discovered that when presented with a problem I am able to thoroughly consider all possibilities allowing me to find and present the most optimal solution. I enjoy interacting and communicating with people in order to reach a relationship which is on a deeper level. Through my strong interpersonal skills and relevant experience, I hope to find a position in counseling or a related field where my skills can flourish and exceed beyond expectations. As a member of an assortment of clubs and volunteer oportunities, I have demonstrated loyalty and commitment by taking action when a problem arises. My leadership skills do not lie dormant when conflict occurs as I am quick to strategically problem solve and find a lasting resolution. This was established while faced with uncertainty during our recruitment process of getting new members. I was able to analyze the intended outcome and effectively communicate to the organization as a whole in order to successfully coordinate the event to run smoothly. Over the past four years, I have been given the opportunity to demonstrate these valuable skills that can be transferred to the working world. Over the past few years I have worked with the special needs community in group settings along with one on one interaction. These opportunities have highlighted my skills with time management, adaptability, and problem solving. When working with special needs adolescents you have to be able to stick to a schedule and keep everything organized while also having to quickly adapt to any environment or situation that you are placed in. My desire to positively impact this community has highlighted my natural qualities of patience and determination.
