I started my Veterinary Medicine journey in September of 2020 at Pima Medical Institute, but I have had a love for animals for as long as I can remember! After completing my Certification to be a Certified Veterinary Assistant with a 3.4 GPA I got my first job at The Oaks Veterinary Clinic as a Veterinary Assistant. There I got to practice and hone my skills such as reading ear and skin cytology's, collecting fecal samples and setting up floats and directs, attaining vitals such as tempature and heart rate. I can run rooms by myself and fill medications as needed for the doctor. I am skilled in prepping the patient for surgery and monitoring during as well. I can do cephalic blood draws and run The Procyte, The Sedivue, The Catalyst, and Snap Pro machines. I can run all major snap tests as well. I can do all the basic skills such as nail trims and ear cleanings as well. I am bright, fast paced person who truly loves what she does and is rarely seen without a smile around the clinic.
