About Madison Jackson

I am a recent graduate of Washington State University, earning a BA in English (Literary Studies) with a minor in Creative Writing and a certificate in Editing and Publishing. In my senior year, I was the editor-in-chief of LandEscapes, WSU's Undergraduate Literary Arts Journal and formerly the managing editor. I also held multiple positions at WSU's student newspaper, The Daily Evergreen, and successfully marketed a $5 student fee to maintain a 5-day-a-week print cycle in the face of budget cuts. Positions included editor in chief, managing editor, opinion editor, copy editor and reporter. I held positions at WSU's Writing Center as a one-on-one consultant and facilitator of small groups of three to five people; in the Office of Admissions as a Cougar Connector where I give tours of campus and answer questions from parents and potential students about WSU; and at WSU's bookstore, The Bookie, in the textbooks department.
