About Madison Lee

I am a senior at the Syracuse School of Architecture, pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture degree. I am seeking an opportunity to apply my skills in innovative ways. I am pursuing a secondary major in Environment, Sustainability, and Policy, along with a minor in Sustainability in Design. I am proficient in Rhinoceros, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, SketchUp, ArcGIS, Twinmotion, Lumion, and V-Ray, and I am currently expanding my skills in AutoCAD and Revit. My dedication to architecture is reflected in my academic achievements, including merit awards and Dean’s List recognition. Over the past four years at Syracuse University, I have worked on diverse projects focusing on community engagement, sustainable living, and adaptive reuse. My coursework in building systems and environmental studies and policy has deepened my understanding of sustainable design, which I believe is the key to a healthier, more financially responsible future in architecture. In line with my sustainable interests, I have worked on a variety of projects that encourage clean energy and sustainable practices. I am particularly interested in site analysis and the relationship between the natural and built environment. One of my favorite projects that I have worked on is a small-scale algae energy production farm in the midst of the Arborea farmland. This algae farm renovation presents a viable approach to sustainable, local energy production and by leveraging algae’s efficiency and scalability, this project aims to set a precedent for decentralized, renewable energy solutions that benefit both the environment and the local economy.
