As self-proclaimed "Type-A Creative", I am seeking a creative and engaging role with a like-minded company that will allow me to hone in on my current passions and blossom my ever-growing skills. I pride myself on being a self-starter who works well on my own, but I also thrive in team-driven environments where collaboration and creative ideation are encouraged. In my previous roles, I effectively developed my skills in creating visual content that engages audiences and produces results. I’m well-versed in Adobe Creative Suite - with particularly high proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, and InDesign - and have experience with both print and digital design, including social media campaigns, email newsletters, presentations, brochures, forms, and packaging. I also have a background in WordPress web design as well as MailChimp and Premier Pro. My role in a marketing agency has enhanced my turn-around time while still ensuring quality work on a tight schedule. I've worn many hats in the past roles I've worked in, luckily I look fantastic in hats! With that said, I will take any task you give me and strive to provide 98% satisfaction (nobody's perfect)- but calculating for inflation that will end up totaling 102% satisfaction for you and the clients! Okay, math and statistics may not be my strong suit, but my creativity and eye for detail will more than make up for that. My background in photography has allowed me to transfer my skills in layout and color to graphics. I've been studying photography since 2011 and believe that the skills I learned in that medium have given me a leg up in the competition when it comes to graphic design. I see designs and color theory in a way that leads the eye across the whole layout in an exciting and pleasing way that those who only understand graphic design layouts may not see. I am also a skilled photo editor and manipulator, having been proficient in Photoshop for 10+ years. I also strive to stay up-to-date on the latest trends in marketing, design, and social media by keeping my ear to the ground and continuously studying social media and literature on the appropriate subjects.
