About Madison Parish

I graduated from Indiana University in May of 2019 where I received my bachelor's degree in Biology along with two minors in Psychology & Animal Behavior. I also studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland where I briefly focused on literature and cultural studies. I am well rounded in my education, a multitude of cultures, and have held many positions over the years that could lead to a diverse range of future career paths, which currently is focused on oncology and clinical research with IUSCC. My drive and passion for science and research comes from a place of genuine curiosity and appreciation for life in all of its forms. My love for people and desire to better the lives of individuals, combined with my eagerness to know why and how disease and illness work, are what motivate me to continue to learn and advance in the vast field pharmaceutical research. I also recently became a licensed Realtor and have been practicing under my dad, Dave Parish, to help out the family business, Dave Parish Custom Homes (formerly known as P&W Development). My grandfather, Richard Parish founded P&W in 1974, shortly joined by my dad, and I am proud to be apart of this family tradition. I closed on my first house in June of 2021 in Indianapolis, IN. I am beyond excited to see where this secondary interest takes me and learn from two of my biggest role models.
