About Madison Porter

I am currently a third-year law student pursuing a Juris Doctorate at Regent University School of Law, with an anticipated graduation year of 2025. I am blessed to serve as the treasurer on the Executive Board for The Wellness Society, Vice President on the Executive Board for Family Law Society, and finally a representative on behalf of Regent Law for the Council of Graduate Students (COGS). I completed my undergraduate degree at George Mason University in the Honor's College, where I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology, Law, and Society; a double minor in Legal Studies and Psychology; and a concentration in Law and Society. During my three years as an undergraduate, I had the pleasure of participating in Honors College Connects (HCC) to assist incoming freshmen throughout their first-year English courses. In addition, I participated in reconstructing the Honor College curriculum alongside the HCC faculty. Finally, I held a position as a member of the honor committee for the Office of Academic Integrity. I aspire to be a family law attorney in the Hampton Roads area and give back to my community upon completion of the J.D program.
