I am a graduate of Belmont Abbey College with a Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice. I have completed a Senior Thesis with a focus on maltreatment and needs of crime victims in today's society. I have taken multiple courses in psychology, victimology, criminology, criminal courts, and social sciences. I am very passionate about the well-being of others, especially those who need help the most; and wish to dedicate my career to serving my community and the people in it who need assistance. In May 2021, I began as an Economic Services Caseworker in Family & Children’s Medicaid at the Gaston County Department of Health and Human Services aiding clients in receiving benefits that better wellness, peace of mind, and ability to eliminate worries over medical expenses. I now serve as a Foster Care Social Worker I for Gaston County Social Services. I wish to further my career in the fields of victim advocacy, survivor support, and anything that intersects criminal justice with human rights advocacy.
