About Madison Smith

I currently work as an Inclusion Specialist in a Pre-K. I'm an experienced teacher and RBT with 5+ years of experience in schools, daycares, and in-home settings. I have worked for ABA companies including KISS ABA, Early Bird's ABA, and was a special education teacher at Jacob's Ladder School and Therapy Center. Until recently, I was a RBT for KISS ABA focusing on providing children with the necessary resources for behavior reduction, functional, social, and academic skills. In this role, I also developed activity plans and instructional materials that assisted with each individual’s treatment plan. I worked alongside a BCBA where I assisted in implementing assessments, identified and documented learning achievements by collecting data, reporting outcomes, performance information and program adjustments used to enhance comprehension. Supervisors and colleagues know me as a convergent thinker who is creative in executing goals. I believe that every child will be successful in their own way provided they are given the tools to do so. In order to keep content interactive, engaging, and morale high, I include movement into learning and make targets into games when able. While this position has taught me a lot about working well alone, I love being a part of a close-knit team to collaborate with on behaviors, activities, and goals. I have a B.S. in Psychology from Kennesaw State University. I'm currently seeking a new career opportunity within the ABA or special needs field.
