With a total of 6 years of experience in both clinical and nonclinical healthcare settings, I bring a well-rounded perspective to patient care and healthcare operations. As a Medical Assisting student, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience in clinical environments, where I developed a strong foundation in medical terminology and pharmacology, and refined key skills such as administering injections, performing blood draws, and collecting vital signs. During my externship of Medical Assisting, I enhanced my customer service and patient interaction abilities while supporting clinical workflows. In my current role as a Technical Denial Specialist, I’ve expanded my expertise to the administrative side of healthcare, gaining in-depth knowledge of insurance denials, appeals, and reconsideration processes. This combined experience has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare system and the ability to contribute effectively to both patient care and operational efficiency.
