Innovative & Forward-Thinking Problem Solver | Greentech Startup Founder | Mechanical Engineer I’m a passionate, outgoing, and enthusiastic innovator with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from QUB. My career has been defined by creativity, problem-solving, and driving impactful solutions, particularly in greentech, product development, and startup growth. As Co-founder of GoPlugable, I helped build the "Airbnb of EV chargers," creating a game-changing platform that allows EV drivers to book and pay for private home and business chargers. Within 9 months, we successfully built and launched our consumer-facing app, which grew to become the largest charger-sharing app across the Island of Ireland. Startup Leadership & Innovation: Led data analysis of key KPIs (customer acquisition, satisfaction, revenue). Forged strategic partnerships with leading brands (Myenergi, Ohme, SSE Airtricity, Ratio EV). Coordinated with the tech team to launch our app on a limited budget. Drove customer acquisition, applying Lean Six Sigma principles to optimise onboarding (30% improvement). Raised over in funding via grants, competitions and investment from Baltic Ventures. Secured multiple startup awards, including Catalyst INVENT Winner 2023 & Great British Entrepreneur Award. Before GoPlugable, I gained invaluable experience at Danfoss Power Solutions in their Danish headquarters as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where I worked on the design & development of joystick controls for machinery and construction vehicles. Danfoss Power Solutions – Mechanical Design Engineer: At Danfoss, I contributed to the development of cutting-edge joystick systems and worked with cross-functional teams to design, test, and manufacture solutions used in industrial machinery. Utilised Siemens NX CAD to create detailed designs and tracked manufacture schedules using Siemens PLM Teamcenter system for over 50 customer orders. Collaborated with electrical engineers on patented designs for steering solutions. Led the development of a joystick lifetime tester to ensure product durability and performance. Worked with global teams contributing to project tracking and change management. In February 2025, I transitioned from GoPlugable to explore new opportunities where I can bring my dynamic skillset, innovative mindset, and strategic leadership to a high-impact role. Let’s Connect!
