About Maegan Sheskey

As the Senior Manager of Events it is my responsibility to ensure that the attendee experience is seamless. From the initial event awareness until the follow-up survey, I strive to produce an experience that is unforgettable. At Alberta Municipalities I have the pleasure of planning, managing, and executing numerous events throughout the year. From workshops of 50 people, to our annual Convention of more and 1,500 participants, our commitment to deliver a top-notch events remains the same. I act as liaison to our Executive Team, Executive Committee and Board of Directors, gathering all necessary feedback and approvals along the way. My role is also accountable for managing external vendors and contractors, including accommodations and transportation, as well as all external stakeholder relations as it relates directly to sponsorship. A pragmatic and strategic thinker, I am responsible for all logistics planning and timeline managements, preparing various BNs and RFDs, and provide regular status reports to the CEO, management team, staff and Board of Directors.
