Strategic and mission-driven leader with over 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, family engagement, and community empowerment. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Tenacity Inc, I bring a systems-thinking approach to HR, operations, and organizational strategy. I lead with heart, purpose, and a strong commitment to equity. Originally trained as a lawyer in Colombia, I hold a Juris Doctor degree and have applied my legal and critical thinking skills to advocacy, program development, and leadership in the U.S. While I haven’t practiced law since graduation, the discipline and perspective I gained continue to inform my work—especially in policy, equity, and systems change. My passion for family engagement grew from my own experience as an immigrant and mother navigating a new system. I’ve spent over a decade designing and leading programs that center families’ voices, build parent leadership, and foster strong school-community partnerships. I’ve worked in and with schools, nonprofits, and government agencies to champion culturally competent practices that uplift historically underserved communities. Fluent in Spanish and English, I lead with empathy, innovation, and a strong sense of purpose—always working to create meaningful, sustainable impact.
