About Mageed Ghaleb

I design AI systems that automate high-stakes decisions—from real-time production scheduling to financial optimization at scale. With a research background in real-time optimization, metaheuristics, and reinforcement learning, I’ve led projects across academia, fintech, and applied AI. At Moneris, where I currently work, I built the AI solution behind Moneris Advance—a fully automated merchant advancing platform powered by CNN forecasting and Gurobi optimization. This work earned me the ELT Golden Award and the CEO Platinum Award, Moneris’s highest recognitions. I’ve also developed merchant fraud detection models using deep learning (DL) and graph neural networks (GNNs), and led the internal GenAI tools using Azure OpenAI to make data exploration faster and more intelligent. Alongside this, I co-lead MetaForge, an open-source + SaaS platform that tackles complex scheduling through metaheuristics and reinforcement learning (RL). Blending academic depth with industry execution, I’m always open to long-term collaborations—whether in optimization SaaS, applied research, or academic engagement.
