About Maggie Asher

Through my academic and professional journey, my curiosity has helped me to develop a versatile skill set at the intersection of science, data, and project coordination. Currently, as a Business Development Representative in a startup I’m leveraging my research and problem solving skills and melding them with client outreach in an agile environment. My degrees in toxicology and chemistry have strengthened my ability to approach problems systematically, whether designing experiments under GLP standards, troubleshooting complex lab procedures, or evaluating data to identify patterns in order to answer research questions and present results. At ResearchGate, I applied these same problem-solving skills in a digital context, ensuring data accuracy across a database of over entries and generating insights from performance metrics to support client success. My experience as a tutor and mentor further enhanced my capacity to identify challenges, adapt explanations, and find creative solutions that met diverse learning needs while also maintaining open lines of communication with a diverse group of shareholders. Combined with international experience and fluency in English, French, and German, I bring proven strengths in critical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and adaptability to fast-moving environments, and am interested in exploring opportunities that would allow me to make the most of my blend of technical and soft skills.
