About Maggie Clark

I'm Maggie Clark, a human-centered junior data scientist. My passion for data stems from a deep desire to understand people and make a positive impact on their lives. When the path to learning doesn't put people first, I find a way; this philosophy guided my creation of the first ever Data Science and International Affairs major at Northeastern University. I believe that data, when used thoughtfully, can reveal profound insights into our lives and help design products that are not just functional, but truly meaningful to our lives. I spent the past four years in the research labs of Boston, utilizing my data analysis skills for social justice challenges. I love every step of the data science process, including connecting to APIs for innovative research findings, building effective data visualizations, and sharing insights with the data literate as well as the novice. I have seen how data can change the world and change minds. Every industry can benefit from the power of understanding data, and I want to bring that impact to them. With a colorful personality to complement my colorful visualization skills, I shine in a team where innovative problem-solving and asset-based development leads the way.
