About Maggie Emlund

Dear prospective employer, Please accept my application to be a part of your team. I am currently working as a middle school teacher. I am also providing extra tutoring/help two days a week for my students after school. In addition I tutor ELL students another two days after school. My last job I was a Behavior Interventionist for Autism Spectrum Therapies (AST) and I worked very closely with autistic people and their families/communities. Before that I taught at Sylvan Learning Center and was contracted out to San Pasqual Academy (SPA) and worked with a wonder full group of high school (foster care) students. I also have other teaching experience, five years of experience working as a manager, and four years of military experience. I have a master’s degree in Special education (cross category) as well as a master's degree in Elementary Education and promise to become an asset to your team. I possess strong work ethics; I am familiar with many educational programs and am very effective at managing my time. The past work experience I have received has enabled me to prioritize my work, accomplish assignments within tight deadlines, but yet deliver high quality work.
