About Maggie McCracken

I joined the Stillwater community in the fall of 2018 and have continuously looked for ways to connect further within the community through my profession and in my personal life. I was in the banking field for three years. During this time, I had shown dedication and worked in a variety of retail positions, gaining a wide skill set. This knowledge not only helped me grow professionally, but it has also helped me sharpen my abilities in relationship building, leadership, and customer service. These skills have led me to my current position as Director of Membership Development with the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce. In my previous role at the Chamber as Membership Development Coordinator, I had increased my professional experience ten-fold while also cultivating my relationship building skills. Now, as the Director of Membership Development, I have the opportunity to expand my role, set new goals, and create new programs. In 2021, I produced a Stillwater wide sock drive I named “Socktober.” Through the month of October, businesses helped me collect over 800 pairs of socks to be distributed back into the community to those in need. In addition, I have led a canned food drive and an aluminum can drive, while volunteering my time and skills in other areas. I currently serve on the board of directors for Wings of Hope, while also ensuring the Chamber staff has a volunteer opportunity at least once a quarter. I am a motivated, energetic, organized, individual with a drive for community enrichment.
