About Maggie Wang

I was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and am attending school at Waterloo, Ontario. I love learning new things which led me to obtain hobbies like rock climbing, crocheting, painting, puzzles, and reading. I typically spend my time at home reading, on campus studying, or in the garage completeing tasks for my school's formula electric team. I would love to travel the world someday and learn from all over. I am currently reading the last of the Beartown trilogy; A story that walks you through the community of a hockey-loving town in northern Sweden. This book is not like most I've read where I usually enjoy reading adventure and old-school romances. If you had suggested this book to me by the summary, I probably wouldn't have picked it up. I have experience in a wide variety of fields including organizing for Canada's oldest and largest high school hackathon and working with other students in the global Map the System competition. I have also worked in multiple customer service roles and volunteer often with my mom at baking and biking events. All these broad experiences made me a quick learner and eager to learn. Surrounded by art growing up and continuing to practice art as hobbies allow me to practice creative and innovative thinking.
