About Maggie Warren

My drive to bring change to the inequalities in the education system and provide students in under-resourced communities with a high quality and culturally responsive education is what led me to have an eight year career as an educator in Baltimore City. During that time, I served as network team lead managing and serving a group of 15 + educators, created and piloted a Professional Learning Community for 20 + staff members, supported early career teachers as a school site mentor and coach, led professional development, was awarded the distinction of Model Teacher, and wrote curriculum that was used by an entire district. This experience, coupled with my degree in Public Relations and Advertising, has prepared me to bring a vast skillset that lends itself for excellence to benefit other sectors. I am a passionate and adaptable life-long learner with a strong skillset of curriculum design and implementation that creates experiences which ultimately stretch others to experience growth. I am a professional who possesses a deep understanding of the learning process and is committed to excellence and inclusivity. I see the potential in others- that they are alive with possibilities- and find it my goal to help others experience success. I am a team player that anticipates needs and stays flexible and productive in all environments. I bring ideas to life using my creativity and innovation. Outside my career, you will find me hiking and enjoying the outdoors, on the hunt for the best coffee shop in Maryland, listening to a thought provoking podcast or audiobook, coaching Girls on the Run, attempting a new recipe, or most importantly - spending time with friends and family.
