About Magnus Emilsson

I am a service minded IT/IS Specialist/Manager with deep skills in leadership and people management and over 20 years of experience in IS-Management and Infrastructure design. My focus is to work with the complete IS-chain, from the end users with their business needs through infrastructure design and security, to its maintenance and support processes; this in order to create a cost-effective technique and a healthy creative working environment. Background: My background is mainly as responsible for design and deliveries of the platform and its clients, including support, used by the business in the early pharmaceutical development process at AstraZeneca R&D. The research laboratories at AstraZeneca R&D are an extremely complex computing environment with over 2500 clients and about 400 servers with a vast and complicated range of business demands. It was common that the business did not know its needs and I had to work closely together with the users to identify what should, and could, be delivered. Personally: I am a dexterous man, and find everything possible to do if you can define what you want. I am the owner of an old charming house, were the renovating act as a mind relaxing project, another activity I finds relaxing is photographing. During my study years, I started a company together with my father. We made and marketed handcrafts in pure casted tin. Afterwards, the company was operated by my father alone. I am known to be committed to 100% in everything I do, private or business work. For the moment I am single and have no children. My friends would describe me as being reliable, loyal and constant in friendship, a quick-witted, wise and very positive person. My motto is: There isn’t a problem that can’t be solved!
