About Magnus Nilsson

Working as a Data Analyst Consultant at AFRY, a shift late in my career, a very deliberate one. Late 2021 I finished a 10 week Bootcamp in Data Science, a hands on training covering disciplines and technologies like data mining, data analysis, machine learning, deep learning and data engineering. An investment in myself done by pure interest. Leading up to this training I've spent years on my spare time diving into Python programming, SQL, and associated tools and techniques. Through my career I have in various ways always worked on supporting, improving and developing the organisation and its people to be more capable and efficient. The most consistent life and work experience is how the availability and quality of data always present the biggest road blocks, as well as the largest opportunities. Combining this with the new data driven word order, then this is what really interest and drives me. Mixed with new skills and motivation, I bring long experience from manufacturing industry, the water industry, international business, engineering and sales support, customer support, systems management, systems implementation, data integration, data quality, continuous improvements, project management, training, marketing, product data management, pricing management, sales and business analysis, and being an extremely reliable and competent resource. My personal qualities include analytical, practical, sharing, creative, thorough, and fast to adapt changes and new concepts. I value clear communication, honesty, quality, cooperation, and absence of prestige.
