Photographic manager and editor of over 25 years, 17 years at The Sydney Morning Herald. World Press jury member 2022 and 2023. Member of the Walkley Advisory Board and a World Press Photo Joop Swart nominator. Awarded ‘Nine Women of Influence’ for leadership. A mentor within Nine’s mentoring program. Photo edited the Walkley award-winning production journey” in 2022 - part of the Herald ‘Ukraine team’. A creative, leader, manager, photographic editor, producer, creative director and content curator of the multi-award winning Sydney Morning Herald photographic department / Nine Publishing. Curated and produced photographic exhibitions: Photos 1440 at The State Library of NSW (11 consecutive years) Spectrum Now Festival (2 yrs) Head On Photo Festival (2 years) Indian Photo Festival in Hyderabad India (3 yrs), ‘Into the Line of Fire’ at the State Library. Pitched, produced, managed and executed the ‘Federal Election 2016- Our Leaders’ - a large scale visual installation in collaboration with Instagram at Martin Place in Sydney and Federation Square in Melbourne- during the 2016 federal election. A high profile and delicate production involving former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, opposition leader Bill Shorten and other key politicians - in a project to humanise politicians. Commercial projects: Produced and edited The Sydney Morning Herald ‘Sydney Lives’ photographic book for the masthead’s 190th anniversary. The book has since been produced as a hardback and continues to be a commercial success. Created, produced and executed SMH Good Food photographic workshops as part of Good Food month for 3 consecutive years, featuring renowned Sydney chefs, food writers, stylists and food photographers.
