A Graduate Engineer (EE) with a Master's in Entrepreneurship from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and a Doctorate from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) with Industry Certifications and Patents. • Distinguished entrepreneurial leader with more than two decades of entrepreneurial experience in enabling new research and development; created highly motivated, engaged, and talented teams with a conducive work environment that enabled these teams to deliver their full potential on product design and development. • Worked on strategic alliances with universities, research institutions, and compliance laboratories on key product development; successfully led the team for technology transfer of lead products from the USA; enabled relocation of product development centre from the UK, USA and Germany to India. • As a part of a doctoral dissertation, worked on technology development for inherent defect detection in dimensional stone blocks; worked with NIRM on the development of Roof Stability Tester for underground coal mines (under an S&T project). Currently working on the development of real-time stability evaluation of slopes (or landslides) using monitoring of induced micro-seismic events (with geophones and accelerometers) to develop a forewarning module for predicting a potential failure to save lives. • Worked with global market leaders in products and technologies like Bosch, Minda, Secure Meters, TVS and Phoenix in India and Germany in a multi-cultural background; travelled to Germany, USA, Vietnam and Malaysia on professional assignments. • 15 years of experience in executing cross-functional product development in multi-national companies in multiple vertical segments across industries of Automotive (electrical vehicles and infotainment), Electricity (metering and energy management), Communication (GSM, GPRS, Wi-Fi, and ISM), Medical (Neo-natal products), and Consumer electronics; spent few years on Program management with geo-distributed teams during mid-career. • My role encompasses the development of new solutions, identifying common development platforms, enabling technology transfer, recruiting, training and building professional teams, cost optimisation, interaction with senior management, external regulatory agencies, customers, vendors and suppliers. • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in programming in assembly, C, MATLAB, Python, and Hardware Debugging tools, 8/16/32 bits MCU and Project Management tools.
