About Mahbubul Arif

I have earned my BBA degree in accounting from Baruch College in 2016 with more than 150 credits. Accounting is my passion and I want to gain more experience in this field. I have also achieved Associate in Science (AS) degree in accounting from LaGuardia Community College in 2012. I have worked as Tax Accountant at Spencer Tax Prep & Books LLC, as Staff Accountant at NCheng LLP, as Staff Accountant at Greater Than One, as an Accounting Assistant at Chelnik Parking Special, as a Bookkeeper at Nickles and Dimes Bookkeeping Inc, as an Accounts Payable Intern at GTA Americas LLC, and also volunteered as an IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistant in 2015 tax season. I also worked for CVS/Pharmacy as a Shift Supervisor, Family Dollar as an Assistant Manager and for Goodwill Industries as a Shift Supervisor. During my employment period, I demonstrated computer proficiency such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, IRS TaxWise tax software, Drake Tax Software, QuickBooks, Nexelus software, Advantage software, Intacct accounting software, JDE accounting software as well as the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. I have worked as a team player and have been instrumental in solving a number of issues. I believe that my educational and professional backgrounds, aspiration to become a CPA, customer service skills, the courses in accounting and my passion will be the best asset for an organization. I seek a challenging Job and look forward to use my acquired knowledge and skills within the firm.
