Director Robotic Research and Education, Vattikuti Urology Institute, Henry Ford Hospital for the past 16 years and CEO, Vattikuti Foundation, a non profit foundation based in Michigan for the past 12 years I am passionate about disruptive technologies and new robotic tools to make surgery safe and improve cutting edge surgery accessible to common men. Served as teacher, academician and researcher for the past over 50 years in India and United States I have a full feel of the market behaviors in India and United States. I am a passionate mentor guiding young surgeons to carve out and nurture their careers to suite their unique character.My background as a urologist, Kidney transplant surgeon and deeply involved in the development and dissemination of robotic surgery across the globe I combine my domain knowledge and skill sets imbibed as surgeon and business manager to design strategies for the companies to develop go market strategy appropriate for their project. For the investors, I do due diligence to authenticate claim and assess true potential of technology while in incubator, advise companies to identify right global markets specifically championing the cause of emerging economies. Innovated a fast track strategy to develop and establish new robotic procedures. I am a consultant and appriser for new robotic technology to advise investors and companies My current functioning is based on my strong foundation of 5 decade long experience of academic surgical sciences, healthcare administration and an astute researcher in India and the United States. I am part of an extensive network of surgeons in different surgical specialties and leaderships across the world. For the past 4 years my research is focused on Artificial intelligence applications in urology. Published papers on predicting intraoperative complications, computer vision models for kidney surgery and researched on AR, VR, MR to build user friendly interface for kidney surgery.
