About Mahmoud Farag

With over 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations, I’ve developed a strong track record in system administration, infrastructure design, and IT leadership. My journey at Beit ELGomla began in technical support and evolved through roles in system administration, engineering, and architecture—culminating in my current role as IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager. Throughout my career, I’ve led infrastructure planning and implementation across multiple sites—including branches and warehouses—and managed both the physical migration of our headquarters and the virtualization of core systems. These experiences have sharpened my ability to deliver complex IT transformations that support business growth. Technically, I bring expertise in managing Linux and Windows environments, container orchestration with Kubernetes (RKE2 and Rancher), VMware virtualization, and hybrid cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. I also prioritize cybersecurity, having implemented CIS benchmarks for Windows, Linux, Exchange, and ESXi systems. Whether in a leadership role or hands-on technical position, I focus on strategic thinking, automation, and team collaboration to solve business challenges. I believe every business problem has a technology-driven solution—and I’m passionate about finding it. I’m open to connecting with IT professionals and recruiters, exchanging ideas, and exploring opportunities in system administration, infrastructure, or operations roles.
