About Maia Arbel

I have a degree in Global Studies with a Political Science minor and a Chinese certificate from Temple University. I have also studied at the University of Pennsylvania and National Taiwan University, as a duel-enrollment student and an exchange student, respectively. At Temple University, I was involved in several initiatives, including serving as a panelist for the Disability Symposium, participating in student government, and conducting research on economic and political affairs. Some of my academic awards and scholarships include the Gilman Award, Pell Grant, Temple University Merit Scholarship, Newcombe Scholarship, and Temple University Study Abroad Award. My past work includes serving as the Social Media Manager at Progressive Pipeline, a canvasser for Changing the Conversation, an Office Assistant at Astor Weiss Kaplan & Mandel, LLP, and as a Research Assistant for Professor Roselyn Hsueh at Temple University. I have extensive experience in a range of areas, including social media, office management, research, and graphic design in various languages. Additionally, I have hands-on experience in political campaigns, logistics, and on-the-ground canvassing. I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Hebrew, and have intermediate proficiency in Arabic and Japanese, including reading and writing abilities. I am currently the Lead Researcher and Graphic Designer at Maven Inc, a consulting firm located in Philadelphia.
