About Maia Arnott

I am a Practice and Wellbeing Manager within the Action Group where I manage a team of service users and Support Workers. I work closely with the Support Workers to ensure a high standard of care is being delivered within these services. Whilst ensuring best practice care is being delivered within my team, employee wellbeing is also pivotal within this role, with regular supervisions and team meetings being conducted. I am passionate about psychology and learning, and I have recently graduated with a BA in Psychology at the University of Strathclyde, with First Class Honours. I was a member and on the committee of the Psychology Society, where I organised and participated in various academic and social events for psychology students and staff. I was also a class representative for three years, representing the views and feedback of my peers to the Student Staff Liaison Committee. Through these roles, I have demonstrated my leadership, teamwork, and time management skills, as well as my commitment to enhancing the student experience and the quality of education.
