Maia's previous experience includes founding of CPGglobal, LLC consulting firm and leadership roles at major food manufacturing trade associations where she led the International Frozen Food Association (IFFA) Secretariat, the International Council of Grocery Manufacturers Associations (ICGMA) Secretariat, the US-based Food Industry Codex Coalition, and the Green Chemistry Alternatives Assessment Industry Coalition.
