Passionate about method development and a deep interest in how sequencing technologies can be pushed to deliver more reliable, high-resolution insights.My background is in building and optimizing RNA/DNA sequencing workflows—especially where things get complex: automation, reproducibility, and scaling methods that actually hold up beyond ideal conditions. Over time, this evolved into a broader focus on how we design systems that don’t just work once, but work consistently and at scale.Today, I’m CEO of Ambiogen, a sequencing-focused startup working with metagenomics and metatranscriptomics. We support both research and applied projects, with a strong emphasis on developing and running methods that generate robust, high-quality data. A big part of what drives me is moving the field away from fragile, one-off solutions toward approaches that are standardized, reproducible, and genuinely comparable across studies.I’m particularly interested in the messy interface between biology and technology—where small methodological choices have a huge impact on what you actually see in the data.
