I’m basically a human espresso shot—full of energy, enthusiasm, and the occasional outburst of dad jokes. Growing up, I was the kid always looking to spark joy and spread laughter. As I’ve gotten older (and a tiny bit more responsible), I’ve kept that same passion for positivity, while always finding ways to grow, try new things, and dive headfirst out of my comfort zone. I’ve spent over eight years at ATB Financial, thriving in roles I had zero experience in when I started. Now, I’m excited to take my energy and creativity from Relationship Manager (RM) to the exciting world of Product Management (PM). Here’s how I plan to make that leap: 1. Team Cheerleader Extraordinaire: As an RM, I rallied people from 8 to 15 across departments including 3 to 5 external partners to deliver the best for clients, all while keeping spirits high. In a PM role, I’ll be the hype person that gets the team motivated, encouraging collaboration and driving productivity (maybe with a few high-fives thrown in). Visionary Mastermind: Whether explaining complex solutions or pitching new ideas, my enthusiasm shines through. In product management, I’ll bring that same energy to communicate the product vision, keep stakeholders inspired, and power through those tricky “are we there yet?” moments. Relationship Wizard: My ability to connect with over 200 clients in a single portfolio as an RM built trust and loyalty. As a PM, I’ll work the same magic with stakeholders to build rapport and get buy-in for product ideas, all while making them feel like they’re the real MVPs. Challenge Tackler: Challenges? Pfft, no problem! My optimism as an RM helped me turn obstacles into opportunities, funding commercial loans from $2,500 to $1M. As a PM, I’ll keep that same sunny attitude, helping teams tackle problems with confidence and come out stronger. Customer Champion: I was the voice of the client in my RM days, making sure their needs were heard. As a PM, I’ll continue to advocate for users, delivering creative and enthusiastic pitches for features that will have everyone saying, “Wow, this product just gets me.” In short, my energy is my superpower, and I’m ready to channel it into product development.
