About Maire Walsh

I truly believe that if I look after my people and my clients well, that we will be successful in whatever it is that we are doing. As a mentor, I actively foster a culture of honest and respectful communication while giving my people the opportunity to develop themselves and their skills. I’m an advocate for building more diversity and inclusion at PwC, focusing on developing a female talent pool where we select key talents and offer mentoring with the goal to have more women at partner and director level. Another element of my work is the development of partners within the Swiss partnership, where I put new processes in place, have taken on a coaching role and developed skills workshops. In my role as a global client partner, I bring over 25 years of expertise in international business in the pharma and life sciences industry, across the whole value chain. I’m currently serving as the partner in charge of the PwC Zug office, leading a team of 115 people. I am the Swiss and PwC Europe pharma life science leader and have led the "foreign-based companies" market segment in Switzerland for many years in the Swiss Tax Leadership Team.
