An experienced,dedicated and qualified Finance Professional with almost 20 years in Senior Financial roles in dynamic multi-retail and large scale multinational organisations. I temporarily held the post of Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in the Health Service Executive (HSE) between October 2022 and April 2023. This is a Senior Post which was part of the previous Executive Management Team (EMT). I am delighted to have had the opportunity to hold this interim CFO role and enjoyed the challenges and experience it has afforded me. I have brought the learnings from this time to my current senior role of Assistant Chief Financial Officer in the HSE. Confident, proactive and determined. Adaptable and open to change. Key areas of expertise and accompishments are IFRS, US GAAP, Sarbane's Oxley (SOX), Compliance, Statutory reporting, Audit ( Internal and External), Financial Control and Controllership, Inventory reporting, Working Capital management, Indirect and Direct tax accounting and reporting responsibility in multi geographies, experienced in organisational change and growth (specifically in acquisitions, restructuring processes, outsourcing and developing shared service centres, centralisation and general business expansion). Has strong skill set in area of Irish R&D tax credit process as well as very knowledgeable in relation to the workings of IDA Ireland and grants. Company secretarial responsibility, Revenue recognition, Business Partner rebate programs, Business partnering with operations. Experienced in SAP, SUN Accounts, Essbase, Oracle, Excel and Hyperion. Has worked in Ireland, the UK and Tanzania and has had significant experience and exposure to the requirements and local customs of various other international countries.
