Ms. Maitreyee is a Pune-based young entrepreneur who has pioneered the idea for the upliftment of sanitation workers by empowering them with technology, through her startup company, “Superb Seva Sanitech” and “SVARA Resources Aid” she is also the National Convenor of DICCI Nextgen subsidiary of DICCI which is working for the upliftment SC ST entrepreneurs. During her college years in Wadia College and MIT WPU, Pune, she worked on various projects in corporate and political social media management company, food photography and blogs, Policy Analysis that helped her develop Social Entrepreneurial skills. While doing so, she disrupted the status quo and chose to deny the traditional reservation system in admission criteria. Her drive to contribute to the upliftment of Dalit entrepreneurs continues through various business ventures. During COVID-19 pandemic, Ms. Maitreyee, along with other startups under DICCI along with the District Administration bodies of Pune, distributed cooked food packets and 18,700 dry ration kits to migrant workers stranded in Pune. Her work has been recognized by the government bodies and national as well as state media platforms.
