About Maiya Patel

Hello! My name is Maiya Patel, and I am a recent UCLA graduate (Class of 2024) with a degree in Chemical Engineering and a concentration in Biomolecular Engineering. During my time at UCLA, I was actively involved in the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the Society of Women Engineers, and Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, where I developed strong leadership and collaborative skills. As a creative, efficient, and dedicated professional, I thrive on learning and tackling new challenges. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, baking, and practicing yoga. I’m deeply passionate about driving innovation and improving accessibility in the pharmaceutical industry, especially in vaccine development. At my internship at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, I gained hands-on experience supporting and leading project management efforts across multiple Global Supply Chain initiatives. I’m always open to connecting with professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and chemical engineering industries.
