Background
About Maizee Zaccone
I'm a recent MA graduate with a degree in English from SRU, the university where I also completed my Undergraduate work. I am also a hopeful future PhD candidate with an interest in Pittsburgh-based Rhetoric programs. Through my collegiate and career experience, I have worked extensively in journalism, communications/public affairs, writing, and editing. In my spare time, I teach College Writing and Research Writing at Butler County Community College and co-chair the Diversity and Inclusion Committee at the Sunrise Cranberry Rotary club. I am also the proud 2016 Pennsylvania recipient of the All-American Phi Theta Kappa scholarship and State Captain of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. I was named a 2016 New Century Scholar, and went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude as the commencement speaker.
