I am a Humanitarian Finance, Grants, Contracts, Compliance and Reporting Professional, with twenty (20) years of work experience, eight (8) years as an expatriate, working with various national and International Humanitarian Organisations (INGOs) such as Oxfam, World Vision, Cordaid, MDM, ADRA, and IDG. I have sound experience dealing with donor relations, programme management and implementation of donor funded projects, procurement processes, human resources, and overall financial management, for projects funded by large donor agencies such as EU, ECHO, OFDA, UNDP, UNICEF, IOM, WFP, UNFPA, UNHCR, USAID, DFID, DEC, SIDA, CIDA, DGD, FAO, Crown Agents, Netherlands Foreign Office, British High Commission, SwissAid, AusAid, UNOCHA, and many others. I have lead the support teams that include finance teams, grants & contracts, logistics and administration, IT, human resources in Mozambique, Angola, Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Sudan, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. Sat in meetings as part of the Regional Management Team, Country Management Team, Country Senior Management Team, and in various international departmental management teams, involved in monthly, annual and long-term strategic planning and management issues. I possess strong practical working experience in donor financial management, grants & contracts administration, compliance, reporting, budgeting, internal controls, capacity building, partnerships management, setting up systems, and audits. Have extensive working experience working with computerized accounting systems such as AX Dynamics, PeopleSoft, SunSystems, Vision Excel, Sage Pastel, Quickbooks, SAGA, AccPac, and other tools like PowerPoint, Excel, Word, payroll software. I am a well-organized, self-motivated team player, quick learner, used to working with minimum supervision, and flexible and easily adapt to various working environments.
